Biking - If you're in the mood for a leisurely ride with spectacular scenery, the Hannagan Meadow Loop trail is the ideal trail for you. This 6 mile trail winds its way through luminous meadows and dark cool forests allowing you to ride into another dimension of the senses. Another easy and enjoyable trail located just west of Hannagan Meadow is the Ackre Lake Trail. This 3.5 mile trail offers delightful scenery as well as an interpretive brochure to learn about the ecology of the area. If you are in the mood for a more adventurous ride, secure your helmet and fly down the quick descents on George's Lake Trail. This 4.5 mile moderate trail is an old logging road located just outside of Alpine.

For incredible wildlife sightings try the Luna Lake Loops. These trails are easy to moderate in difficulty, 2½ or 8 miles and are conveniently located near Luna lake and the adjoining campground. If you are up for an invigorating ride in the higher elevations, the easy to moderate 6 mile Terry Flat Loop trail is awaiting you. This ride offers inspirational vista views and revered wildlife sightings. To experience one of the best mountain bike trails in the White Mountains, try the Williams Valley Loops (5 loops, 12 miles. Easy to most difficult). The views are sensational, the hills are rolling and for the thrill seeker, the inclines are a rush.
