PRIVATE GOLF COURSES
Pinetop Country Club: Located 2 miles east of Highway 260 on Buck Springs Road,
across from White Mountain Country Club. The magnificent view from the clubhouse overlooks
the finishing greens of each nine, the driving range, the practice greens and the first
tee. The course plays to a par 71 and measures 6,461 yards. Built and designed by Milt
Coggins, one of the foremost golf course architects in the country. Members and guests

White Mountain Country Club: This picturesque par 72 championship golf course is
located one mile southeast of Pinetop-Lakeside on Highway 260. This course sprawls over
150 acres and boasts beautifully kept fairways that angle through the tall ponderosa

PUBLIC GOLF COURSES:
Alpine Country Club: Located 2 miles east of the junction of US 666 and US 180 in
Alpine. This course is known as the "Alps" of Arizona, for it is the highest
golf course in the Southwest at 8,500 feet above sea level. Seasonable golfers meander
down fairways that are surrounded by dense groves of aspen trees, blue spruce and
ponderosa pines. It is a magnificent setting, and the coolest summer golf source in the

Concho Valley Country Club: Located off Highway 61, north of Show Low. This
year-round 18 hole, par 72 course will test you with several tricky water hazards as a
crystal clear, spring fed stream meanders through the entire course. Guests welcome. (520)

Pinetop Lakes Golf and Country Club: Located 1/4 mile east of Highway 260 on
Buck Springs Road. This 18 hole executive golf course is open to the public and shares its
pleasure with all who like the shorter courses. A beautiful clubhouse with full restaurant

Silver Creek Golf Club: Located 7 miles east of Show Low and 5 miles east of
Highway 77 on White Mountain Lake Road. As the newest 18 hole championship golf course in
the White Mountains, it was nominated the nation's best new public golf course by Golf
Digest in 1986. The course was designed by Gary Panks and provides 18 memorable golf holes
that have well bunkered bentgrass greens. Silver Creek also has one of the finest practice
facilities in the Southwest that include a unique 19th hole for warm-up
practice or playoffs. Reservations can be made in advance and fees are reasonable. Open to

Snowflake Golf Course: Open year-round with 18 holes, you will enjoy playing
this unique course. The course is located in Snowflake. Open to the public. (520)

Show Low Country Club: Open year-round with 18 holes of grass fairways and
bentgrass greens. This is a par 70 course with distinctively different nines offering a
challenge for all golfers. The Show Low Country Club is located on the west side of town
at the intersection of Highway 260 and Old Linden Road. Call ahead for reservations and
